Between Monday night and Wednesday morning, we received around two feet of snow here at 8,000 feet in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
It was too tempting not to get in a couple runs in my literal backyard.
It took some work; low-angle terrain (we live here), and deep, soft, heavy snow that didn’t quite keep my Denalis floating.
But it was untracked and very possibly the first time anyone has skied it.
And you can’t beat the approach!
Good vibes out to everybody as we dream of winter! See you next time!
